Okay, but

It's a good idea, but there are a few things I'd change about it:
First of all, you should have some sort of animation for when the forest swallows you, rather than just a kind of unhappy bear noise.
Also, there are a few to many point and click horror games, so on the next addition, you should try a different concept.
And finally, the graphics on the dead guy could be improved.

However, I really liked the idea of using real photographs for the background; that gave it a nice realistic feel that made it just that much creepier

Well the forest doesn't litteraly "swallow" you, so there really isn't anything to show.
Yes, thank you, I tried to make the game look realistic by adding photos that were slightly edited into the game!
